From Seed to Plate is a collective zine created with Granville Community Kitchen(GCK) and the people of South Kilburn. This zine captures the democratic and practical actions taken by our community to secure our right to food and foster food solidarity in recent years.

The zine begins with the story of our beloved community gardens. For over a decade, we’ve stood together, rallied against Regeneration Programs that threaten our community spaces. This land is more than soil; it’s where we plant, grow, and connect.

Through the seasons, as these pages flow, we plant seeds in spring, often with our children, and gather the harvest in autumn. We cook and share, bringing the tastes of home to life. For all of us, South Kilburn is a place of belonging—a home in every sense, close and far.
